They say wear a mask on entry but they never inforce it, multiple times I've seen people with no mask on

I wrote this review a few days ago, but I see it has not been published on your site. I have been shopping at your Waiheke shop and have been disappointed at the management of the store. I frequently find that the product on the shelf is either not priced, or has the price placed some distance from it. This is very confusing. Also the price on the article is different to what comes up at the checkout, eg strawberries clearly marked $2.50, checkout price $6.00. Although the store has 8 checkouts, every time I visited there was only two operating, and the queues where very long, also on the self checkouts. I realise they are short staffed, but this does not explain the pricing mix ups. It is also not uncommon to find products in a bin with no price at all, very annoying. I would hope that something could be done to improve the situation.

I have been staying over at Waiheke and therefore have been doing my grocery shopping at your store. I find it a very frustrating and confusing experience as a large number of your products are not priced, others have their price away from where the item is placed on the shelf. Some products have a price different from what is charged at the checkout, this has happened a number of times. The store has eight checkouts, but only two are usually open. There is self checkout as well, for which there often long queues. When I complained I was told they have a staff shortage, I appreciate this, but feel the management of this store needs to be greatly improved.

Please do not create/suggest services such as 'Olive' the online virtual assistant that can't actually hep or assist with anything, and your phone service with the automated responses for reporting missing items from an online order for example, does not work. As a major corporation, the services you provide for follow up assistance are incredibly poor.

 by Kishorne

I had some items missing, a lot actually for my delivery. Got through to your 0800 40 40 40 automated. Kept asking for line numbers? Where does on your packaging slip says line number? No where! If it says ref number on the packaging slip rhen why not ask for that. Plus are you suppose to enter all the missing ref number at once or one at a time.
Then I tried with the live chat, same thing. Can't help without line numbers! After 45 minutes, manage to get someone on the phone, took her a couple of minutes and she redirected the shopping back to me....she gets a 5 star. Your system gets, (pardon my language) sucks!!

I am concerned at the incorrect mask and mask wearing in your stores.
All staff are either wearing a surgical, or a cloth mask that does not fit, or is incorrectly fitting , or doesn’t have the correct fabric and filter content to be safe.
Countdown this is your responsibility as an employer to provide, “train” and be vigilant that your staff to stay safe and keep your customers safe.
Masks should fit the face snuggly. They should have a nose clip, tightened and a chip insert. Masks should be either N95, surgical, or 3 layers of cloth with a filter.
No mask should have a breathing insert

Appalling, Countdown's solution to dealing with customer issues is leave them permanently on hold.

If I could I would give a -10. The service I received today from a Customer Service person re an online shop was absolutely disgusting. She consistently spoke over me was rude and then hung up in my ear. I’m immune compromised & have to rely on these people to do my groceries for me. Never before have I had such terrible service from a Countdown staff member.
